According to the numbers issued by the government's INDEC statistics agency Tuesday, Argentina's monthly inflation dropped to 13.2% in February, compared to 20.6% in January. Whereas, the inflation was 25.5% in December.

The March Consumer Price Index (CPI) — a measure of the average change over time in the prices paid by urban consumers for a market basket of consumer goods and services — rose 0.4% in February, above market expectations of 0.3%.

Asian markets mostly rose in line with Wall Street on Wednesday as forecast-beating US inflation data did little to dent expectations that the Federal Reserve will begin cutting interest rates this year.
