If all goes to plan, sometime in November 2024, NASA’s newly announced Artemis II crew – Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen – will cram themselves into their Orion space capsule and begin their final checks for launch.

Now that the astronauts for NASA's Artemis 2 moon mission have been chosen, the serious launch training can begin.

‘This is humanity’s crew,’ NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said. The new four-person crew will orbit the moon on Artemis II and establish a long-term presence on the moon for science and exploration.
