Josh Williams, who has been driving the No. 11 Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing since the start of the 2024 season, is now out of a ride. The team has made the decision to part ways with Williams, effective immediately.

The teenager Connor Zilisch capitalized on the chaos and put himself in a perfect position to win Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. While earning his fifth win of the 2025 season (and his third in succession), he also collected JR Motorsports' 100th NASCAR Xfinity win as an organization. 

It was a surprisingly clean NASCAR Xfinity race at Dover Motor Speedway, and it never made it to the scheduled distance. When the rain arrived, Connor Zilisch was out front of the field. With more rain around daylight fading at a track without lights, NASCAR was forced to call it.

Friday was supposed to be a rather tame day at the track as the Sonoma race weekend got underway. There was practice and qualifying for the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Shane van Gisbergen earning pole position, ending the day with an ARCA West race.

After almost 90 minutes of waiting due to lightning in the area, the NASCAR Xfinity race finally got underway with five laps left in the first stage.

NASCAR had to wait over an hour due to lightning in the area before they were able tor resume Friday night's Xfinity Series race at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta). The track remained dry, but the nearby lightning made it unsafe for the fans and competitors to continue with the event.

Following a triple-header weekend at Pocono Raceway, NASCAR chose to take the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet of Chase Elliott and the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota of Christopher with them back to the RD Center for further inspection.
