Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) which is gearing up to launch its 4G services on pan-India basis, has no plans to increase its tariffs, Sandeep Govil, the company’s board director said.

During the first meeting of the newly-constituted Telecom Advisory Committee of BSNL in Mysuru, Pratap Simha, Mysuru MP, on Monday, June 19, told the officials to increase the number of mobile towers in Kodagu to improve services and the reach of the network.

According to one resident of Bengaluru, “The main difference I can see between then and now is the accessibility of social media. Anything and everything, whether it’s good or bad, people will come to know in a fraction of a second.”
