Zoe Kravitz shares 'uncomfortable' aspect of Harry Styles romance and discusses having kids

Zoe Kravitz has broken her silence on her relationship with Harry Styles.

The actor, 37, got engaged to the singer, 32, in April after eight months of dating and has been seen flashing a large diamond ring on her left hand.

The couple has been spotted looking smitten in public, kissing in the streets of central London and enjoying getaways to Rome together as well as getting seemingly matching tattoos.

While they have remained tight-lipped on their relationship milestone, Kravitz finally discussed their romance during an interview with Vogue UK for its July issue.

When asked what it’s like to fall in love in the public eye, she said: “I think doing anything in the public eye is uncomfortable.”

As for the constant scrutiny surrounding their romance, the Batman star added: “I’m aware it’s happening. I’m aware of when it’s happening, like when there are eight people outside my house, that’s super uncomfortable.”

Kravitz went on: “I'm aware of all the ingredients that create the thing that we’re talking about. But that doesn’t mean you're necessarily OK with it.”

She remarked that there are times when she will “defiantly” go about her daily life in spite of the paparazzi’s presence.

“There are moments obviously when you just want to hide because it feels overwhelming,” she said.

“And then there are moments when you, whether it’s in a defiant way, are like, ‘I’m going to walk and get my coffee and you’re not going to take that away from me.’”

The Big Little Lies star’s engagement to Styles has opened up questions about having kids, but Kravitz shared her pragmatism about balancing her work life with starting her family.

“You just kind of have to be realistic. If I want to do something well, I have to focus on it,” she said.

“Knowing myself, I’m not going to have a kid and direct movies at exactly the same time. You just have to decide where you want your energy to be.”

Styles and Kravitz‘s engagement was reported in April, with sources saying Styles is “completely smitten” with the Batman star.

“He would jump off a cliff for her,” a source told Page Six, adding that Kravitz is “on cloud nine”.

The A-list couple’s friends are said to be excited about the engagement, with insiders saying: “No one in their circle is surprised.”

This marks Styles’ first engagement. Kravitz was previously married to actor Karl Glusman, 38, from 2019 to 2021.

Last month, Kravitz called out the streaming platform Hulu for making a “tacky” reference to their engagement.

Hulu appeared to cash in on the major relationship news on their Instagram account by sharing a post about Kravitz’s defunct show, High Fidelity and reminding viewers that it is still available to stream.

The show, which starred Kravitz as record owner Robyn Brooks, was cancelled after one series by Hulu in 2020 - something the actor branded a “big mistake”.

However, last month, the streamer shared an Instagram photo of Kravitz from the series alongside a reference to her new fiance’s album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.

“Robyn Brooks definitely has Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally on her playlist. Now streaming: #HighFidelity,” the caption read.

Kravitz hit back in the comments: “This is tacky @hulu.”
