Carlo Ancelotti still has a number of things to cross off on his transfer window wishlist and will be keen to make his moves in the market in time to get any new recruits ready for a new Premier League season.
The Blues need reinforcements in a number of areas and are not short of players being linked with a move to the club.
Here are the latest Everton transfer rumours and how they rate:

Tottenham are apparently joining Everton in the race for the defender.
A report from Turkey cited here has stated Carlo Ancelotti's side currently lead the race for the Turkish full-back but that Celik has also caught Jose Mourinho's eye.
What?
Right back is a position Ancelotti needs to fill after Djibril Sidibe's loan spell came to an end. It would perhaps be a surprise given Everton are also continuously linked with Celik's Lille teammate Gabriel.
Perhaps Ancelotti feels they could continue their relationship at Goodison Park but his shortlist for rightback is probably longer than one for a centre-back.
Allan
Who?
Napoli midfielder
Where?
According to Il Mattino in reports cited by Sportwitness, Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso has given his ‘blessing’ to selling the midfielder
It’s claimed Allan already had an agreement in place with the Blues on a deal worth €4.8m a year and the Serie A club's chief is in negotiations with the Toffees but the player apparently wants to see what Atlético Madrid are willing to offer which could complicate things.
Il Mattino even state:‘immediately after mid-August’ there will be ‘the exchange of documents’. Everton will need to match Napoli's valuation of around €40m to get a deal done though and they also face competition from Inter Milan.
What?
A reunion between Allan and Carlo Anceloltti makes sense on paper and Allan seems near certain to leave Napoli this summer.
If that will end up being for Everton remains to be seen.
Marcel Brands will surely be keen on knocking the asking price down by a fair few million pounds.

Former Burnley midfielder but now a free agent.
Where?
90min claim Everton, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion are among the clubs eyeing up signing the midfielder following his departure from the Clarets.
AC Milan, Atalanta, Lille and Marseille are also apparently interested in the 28-year-old but Newcastle are currently said to be one of the favourites.
What?
Another midfielder to add to the 'linked with Everton' list.
Perhaps a more favourable option to the club's hierarchy considering he is currently a free agent. Other similar players linked with a move to Goodison Park have been reported to have a potential cost of £30-£40million.
Marcel Brands would no doubt be happy to save a bit of money which could be used to reinforce elsewhere, and Carlo Ancelotti would be able to bring an experienced Premier League midfielder into his ranks.
