Zac Taylor provides injury updates on Sam Hubbard, key Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals had hoped the bye week would mean the roster improved dramatically in the health department.

And in some cases, that’s true.

Head coach Zac Taylor told ESPN’s Ben Baby that center Trey Hopkins and guard Mike Jordan are good to go. He said the same about edge rusher Sam Hubbard, per The Athletic’s Jay Morrison.

Otherwise, some of the bigger names remain question marks. The outlook so far hasn’t seemed great for running back Joe Mixon or right tackle Bobby Hart. At the very least, it’s looking better for left tackle Jonah Williams. But right tackle is a major question mark considering Fred Johnson is on the COVID-19 reserve list.

At this stage of the week, Thursday’s injury report makes the outlook brutal for Hart, Mixon and Darius Phillips:
