YouTube star Ryan Taylor attacks rival's coach ahead of grudge fight

YouTube star Ryan Taylor got into a physical altercation ahead of his fight with DK Money.

The social media sensation from Walsall is set to face his American rival on the undercard of fellow Brit Deji's fight with Alex Wassabi on Saturday night.

But he ended up throwing punches earlier than expected when he ran into Andrew Stafford, the coach of DK Money and Kyle 'Stromedy' Godfrey outside the OVO Arena Wembley last night.

The pair were seen in a verbal altercation with fans watching outside the arena, and were separated by the venue's security team.

But it continued after Taylor put hands on Stafford before jumping a barrier in an attempt to get closer to his rival's coach.

DK Money and Taylor had been engaged in a heated war of words at their pre-fight press conference, and it only intensified after the event.

Taylor claimed to Mirror Fighting just minutes before the incident that he felt his rival was irrelevant, and only wanted to fight him in an effort to get near his friend and Drama Alert host Daniel 'Keemstar' Keem.

"I just don't know who he is," Taylor said. "He's irrelevant, I've never seen or heard of him before this.

"I got asked to do the fight and of course I accepted it, but I only did that in the hopes that I would see his uncle [Keem].

"That man's got a very negative social following and he deserves a good hiding, which I was hoping to give him in London but he hasn't turned up.

"Now his uncle's not turned up, he's not coming but look the kid's still here, his heart's there so I'll have to f***ing break it for him."

Taylor has only been seriously training for the fight for what he says amounts to around two or three weeks.

But he claims that his natural ability will carry him against the far more experienced American, who fought to a narrow decision loss against Nick Ireland last summer.

"I don't care," Taylor said of his rival's training regime, before teammate and Bellator star Kane Mousah insisted that it wouldn't matter.

"It doesn't matter sometimes how long somebody's been training," Mousah added. "Some people are built for it.

"He's an athlete, he's been training anyway regardless and he's built for fighting regardless."

But Taylor believes that DK's last fight was a "joke", and says that he isn't ready for their bout on Saturday night.

"The fight that I saw him have, I've seen 15 or 16-year-olds fight harder than that, and he lost that fight!

"It's a joke, these guys aren't serious but hopefully after this fight I can get someone serious and see how far I can take it."
