YouTube bodybuilder Joesthetics dies at 30 as tributes paid

A popular bodybuilder who rose to fame on YouTube has died at the age of 30.

Tributes have been paid to Jo Lindner, who shared content under the name of Joesthetics, as devastated pals described him as 'the kindest soul'.

It is not currently known how the German bodybuilder died, the Mirror reports.

Jo rose to prominence on YouTube and shared bodybuilding routines on the platform, as well as other content about the sport.

Friend Noel Deyzel paid tribute on Instagram, he said: "Rest in peace Jo. I still keep checking my phone waiting for your reply so we can meet at the gym.

"I'm broken bro. You opened your arms up to us, you showed us so much about life and social media.

"Your generosity towards myself and others will always stay with me".

He also wrote in the caption: "Rest in peace Jo. I love you man".

In an Instagram story post, Noel later added: "This is not a joke. His mother requested that we inform people about the situation.

"Please keep Jo and his loved ones in your prayers.

"I still just can't f**king believe it. Rest in peace brother."

Fans of the popular YouTuber commented on Jo's last Instagram post which was shared just two days ago.

Traitors star Dr Amos wrote: "This is so sad RIP. We need to consciously move towards promoting healthier bodybuilding".

Fellow bodybuilder Joseph Shulkin added: "You inspired me and millions of others man. You have done so much for the community, had the best energy, and the kindest soul. We will always remember you brazza, fly high".

"I’m gonna miss hearing you say “BRAZZA” Your energy/content will live on forever Joe! RIP LEGEND," another person said.

While a third wrote: "I always looked up to this man it’s tragic to see he’s gone at such a young age."

And another said: "Rest easy legend."

"Rest in peace my brother lots of love and thanks for motivating me through my fitness start..!!!," one person added.

Jo rose to fame on YouTube by posting bodybuilding content on the platform and gained populairty while he lived in Thailand.
