Tielemans breaks silence

Youri Tielemans has brushed off questions over his Leicester City future after being asked if he sees himself as Gini Wijnaldum’s replacement at Liverpool.

The Reds have been continually linked with the Leicester midfielder in recent weeks after his side once again missed on Champions League football last season.

That speculation has further increased after Liverpool confirmed that Wijnaldum would leave the club following the conclusion of his contract at the end of this month.

And when asked about his future, Tielemans claimed his sole focus was on the current European Championships with Belgium.

Coutinho Liverpool reunion makes sense

Three things are certain in life: Death, taxes, and Philippe Coutinho being linked with a Premier League return as soon as the transfer window re-opens.

It feels that ever since the Brazilian left Liverpool for Barcelona in a club-record £142m move back in January 2018, he has been constantly tipped for a return to the English top-flight.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and even Everton have all been credited with speculative interest in the playmaker at one point or another, while he has inevitable been linked with a return to Anfield in the past too.

And there was that time when his agent, Kia Joorabchian spoke out on reported interest from the most unlikeliest of sources - Manchester United.

Now just over a week into the latest summer transfer window and Coutinho has been linked with a return to the English top-flight once again with Leicester City this time the suggested suitors.
