Your morning coffee receipt could help earn you money

September is here which means our summer holidays are over, the kids are back in school and that morning coffee on your way in the office - we're guessing - has never been needed more.

While buying from a coffee shop each day can soon add up, thankfully there is now a way you can actually make money from the transaction or in other words get a free coffee.

Deals website TopCashback is offering to buy coffee lovers their favourite drink up to the value of £5 in a new deal launched this week.

Coffee-lovers are being encouraged to ask for a receipt and keep hold of it.

The deal means you can buy a cup from a coffee shop chain such as Starbucks, Costa or Pret, or from your favourite local independent coffee shop.

Wherever you buy the coffee from you will be able to claim back up to £5 on your purchase simply by keeping your receipt.

How to get the deal

1. Head to your favourite coffee shop and buy a coffee up to the value of £5.

2. Keep hold of your receipt.

3. To get the deal you will need to be a new member of Topcashback. You will have to sign up to the free deals website here.

4. Once signed up follow the instructions and upload your receipt. After a short time you will be sent the value of your coffee directly into your account.

5.  For all T&Cs go here.

The deal coincides with the launch of Starbuck's Pumpkin Spiced Latte which launched in branches last week.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is made with pumpkin flavouring, cinnamon, coffee and milk.

There is also a vegan-friendly version too.

The sauce is dairy-free, so it means vegans don’t have to miss out. It also tastes great with a dairy-alternative such as almond or oat, and can be enjoyed hot or iced – ideal for any weather.
