A heartbroken 27-year-old mum has been given only six months to live after being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.
Hettie Galway said she visited her GP after suffering from what she thought at the time were severe headaches and migraines.
The mum-of-two from Huyton said she would feel sick, become forgetful and suffer with blurred vision - often having to spend days in bed, unable to go to work.
After numerous visits to her GP in 2017, Hettie said she was told by doctors her symptoms were "just migraines".
However when the pain worsened the mum, who has children Daniel, aged five and three-year-old Epona, sought another opinion.
And it was then she was given the tragic diagnosis after a CT and MRI scan that she had a Grade 3 brain tumour.
Following the devastating diagnosis, the then 25-year-old underwent operations, a biopsy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

But in August of this year, a routine check revealed a new and aggressive tumour was growing on her brain stem.
And the mum-of-two was recently told, alongside her loved ones, that "nothing could be done" and that she only had three to six months to live.
Devastated Hettie said: "In 2017 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour on the right frontal lobe.
"I was getting a lot of migraines, my vision was going and I was getting blind spots.
"I had to stay in bed all day. I couldn't do anything, I couldn't go to work.
"I went to another GP and they referred me to the Walton Centre and they confirmed it was a brain tumour.
"I sort of had a feeling it was that but the last GP had kept saying it’s just migraines."
After scans, Hettie had an operation and biopsy in February 2018, just after she married her husband David and then another operation to remove as much of the tumour as possible.
Hettie then started chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but at her routine check in August, last week she got the devastating news that a new aggressive tumour had formed and that she only had months to live.
Hettie said she has shared her story in the hopes it makes a difference to somebody else and raises more awareness.
Nikki Grundy, Hettie's best friend, told the ECHO: "When I found out I was just devastated and numb. You just never expect that to ever happen to someone so young.
"Hettie is such a shy and private person, she puts everyone and her kids before herself.
"She's just the best mum to the kids, she has devoted her life to them.
"She’s been my best friend for 16 years and I'm going to shout from the rooftops if I have to to make people aware of her story."
A GoFundMe page was recently set up by Nikki to raise money so Hettie can "have the best time with her family and make memories."
In a matter of hours it surpassed it's fundraising goal of £5,000 and Nikki said people from around the globe have been in contact to tell them about their experiences.
Hettie said she has been "blown-away" by all the donations so far and also thanked The Walton Centre and Clatterbridge "who have been amazing."
Nikki said: "It’s been a week since we found out and it’s overwhelming for everyone really.
"We’ve heard so many stories about brain tumours being brushed under the carpet. It seems to me that there’s not enough funds or awareness raised about it.
"A brain tumour will never define who you are, a mother's love will never end.
"Hettie is so strong and will fight this no matter how long she has.
"I love her so much, my heart is broken. But we will remain strong and pray for a miracle."
