A 20-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed several times at a party in Paisley.
The incident happened in the early hours of this morning, reports the Paisley Daily Express , at a party in Dalskeith Avenue, Ferguslie Park.
The young man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital around 1am, where staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
Detective Inspector Ian Ross, of Paisley CID, said: “Our investigation is at an early stage, however I would appeal to anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward to police.
“The victim sustained a number of quite serious injuries in the incident and it is vital we identify whoever is responsible for causing them.”
