The fourth season of the Netflix drama starring Penn Badgley has been split into two parts, with five episodes released on February 9 and the rest of the season dropping on March 9.
While the first three seasons of You were set in the US, namely New York, Los Angeles and the suburbs of California, in the latest season of the TV drama, Joe (masquerading as Jonathan Moore) hops across the pond to London.
Netflix’s You London locations
Londoners will be delighted to see their favourite haunts like Spitalfields Market and Fabric appear as Joe’s new stomping ground, as he takes on the capital to stalk Marianne, who was introduced in season three.
The show’s sense of London’s geography may irk fans, who will just have to suspend disbelief as Joe steps out of Royal Holloway in Surrey and immediately into Shoreditch.
His walk home from Shoreditch to South Kensington may also raise some eyebrows.
King’s Cross St Pancras train station
When Joe first arrives in London, he pulls into King’s Cross train station.
Lincoln’s Inn, 11 New Square
The library shots of Joe’s fictional university, Darcy College, were filmed at Lincoln’s Inn, in Holborn. However, external shots of the university were filmed at Royal Holloway in Surrey.
Fabric
The party scenes are filmed in the nightclub Fabric in Farringdon. Nearby St Bartholomew the Great church also pops up.
The Promenade and Chiswick Gardens
Some of the Netflix drama is filmed in Chiswick, specifically The Promenade and Chiswick Gardens.
The Bargehouse
The Bargehouse, an art gallery in the Oxo Tower on South Bank, also features in the Netflix series as Kate’s exhibition space.
Gloucester Road
Gloucester Road in South Kensington also appears in You, as Joe’s neighbourhood.
Spitalfields Market
Popular food and craft market Spitalfields Market features in You, with shots of Brushfield Street included.
Seething Lane Garden
Seething Lane Garden near Tower Hill appears in the show, as do shots of the nearby Tower Bridge.
