‘You have that green light, and you have that red light’: Ex-marine compares Israel war crimes in Gaza to ‘Squid Game’

A whistleblower who worked for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has described some of the horrific acts he witnessed including seeing a child gunned down by Israeli forces. David MacIntosh also claimed that a “green light, red light” system was set up, akin to the Netflix series Squid Game, to distribute aid.

MacIntosh, a British commando and veteran of several wars, described the dehumanizing and cruel treatment he witnessed towards people in Gaza while speaking to Declassified UK. In one particularly shocking revelation he made a direct comparison to the TV show Squid Game when explaining how aid was distributed amongst the people.

“There’s no time to wait around. You have that green light and you have the red light. And that’s why people have compared it to the Squid Games, that thing. And it makes sense because literally it’s a living reality of that.”

Footage taken in Gaza shows civilians sprinting to aid points at the GHF site with MacIntosh explaining that when the green light is on “they know that you’ve only got an hour” to get in and get out. Huge crowds can be seen running as fast as they can to get ahold of any aid possible before the time runs out. It’s easy to see why people have compared it to Squid Game, which famously features a life or death game in which a group of people have to run during the green light and stand still during the red light.

MacIntosh exposes war crimes in Gaza

The former veteran claimed that he had witnessed many Palestinians get wounded and even killed by Israeli forces at the GHF sites. The numbers are shockingly high with 2,600 being killed and 19,000 being wounded during the four-and-a-half months the GHF operated in Gaza according to dropsitenews.com. What’s happening in Gaza is nothing short of a genocide.

MacIntosh himself described witnessing a 12-year-old boy, who had been “messing around” near the GHF site, be shot dead by the IDF. While GHF workers tried to get the boy to leave the area he did not listen, MacIntosh reiterated that the individual was a child who maybe didn’t understand what he was being told. Eventually a smoke grenade was thrown nearby to get the boy to clear the area; it was at this point that IDF snipers shot the boy. While he survived the initial shot he quickly bled out.

The descriptions given by MacIntosh sounds apocalyptic. He explains that almost everything has been flattened to nothing more than rubble. The treatment of the people who remain trapped in this warzone is just as appalling with war crimes being reported by people like MacIntosh all the time.
