Cursor’s AI-powered coding assistant is finally available on the web as well as phone. Starting today, you can work with Cursor Agents directly from any web or mobile browser. This expansion means developers can now trigger agents to write code, fix bugs, or explore complex parts of a codebase, even when they’re away from their system.

The web and mobile rollout mirrors the familiar experience developers have had with Cursor inside IDEs but adds the flexibility to work from virtually anywhere. Whether through a desktop browser, a tablet, or a smartphone, agents are now accessible through cursor.com/agents. The team has also made it installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for a more native app feel on both iOS and Android.
What Cursor Agents Can Do Outside the IDE?
The new web interface doesn’t cut corners. Cursor Agents can still:
- Run tasks in the background: From launching bug fixes to building out new features.
- Access codebase context: Respond to complex questions based on repository data.
- Support rich interactions: Developers can upload images, add detailed instructions, and even run multiple agents in parallel to compare results.

Apart from that, team collaboration is also part of the release. Cursor now allows team members with repository access to review diffs, check or create pull requests, and pick up tasks mid-progress, all within the browser. For teams using Slack, the integration allows agents to be triggered in chats with “@Cursor” mentions, and updates can be sent as notifications when tasks are done.
Cursor says the goal is to make its AI agents feel like an extension of your dev team, regardless of where you are. “The Cursor Agent on the web gives you a powerful coding assistant wherever you work,” the company noted in its announcement.
