An "aggressive and violent" yob hurled a brick at a police car outside Liverpool Crown Court - just four days into a three year ban on entering Liverpool city centre.
Mark Thomas is now behind bars after he was caught in the act. Earlier this month the 29-year-old from Bootle was given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
Merseyside Police said it followed "numerous convictions for a variety of offences and complaints from the public about his aggressive and violent behaviour".

The CBO, handed to him on Friday, January 8 included a three-year ban from a large part of Liverpool City Centre.
His no-go zone stretched from Lime Street and St Johns Shopping Centre to Chavasse Park.
The zone also stretched to Liverpool Crown Court where Thomas was spotted hurling a brick at a police car outside on Tuesday, January 12 - just four days after being given the CBO.
He has now been jailed for eight weeks.

Merseyside Police 's city centre Twitter account confirmed: "Mark Thomas has been sentenced for breaching his recently issued CBO.
"Police made aware of Thomas who had been seen to throw a brick at a police car outside Crown Court.
"At court, the next day, Thomas was sentenced to 8 weeks imprisonment."
