Xbox Seagate SSD drops to one of its lowest prices yet for Black Friday

We're seeing a ton of Black Friday Xbox deals this year on consoles and accessories, and that includes a massive discount on the Seagate SSD across all three models.

The Xbox Seagate Storage Expansion Card is available in three variants to suit your wallet and particular needs. And happily, all of them are on offer at select retailers for Black Friday. You can opt for the more modest 512GB, the 'just right' 1TB, or the beefy 2TB, depending on what your budget allows.

Even though Black Friday is behind us, the sale prices are still holding. and they're some of the lowest we've seen on the SSDs. While Cyber Monday is coming up, I doubt we'll see much better than the current offerings, so I'd take the plunge if you've been waiting for a bargain on these. The storage cards are usually pretty expensive, and with file sizes for games getting heftier by the year, you won't be able to put off upgrading your Xbox Series X |S for long.

The Xbox Seagate Storage Expansion Cards' RRPs come in at £194.99 / $139.99 / approx. AU$210 for the 512GB model, £314.99 / $219.99 / approx. AU$329 for the 1TB model, and £584.99 / $399.99 / approx. AU$598 for the 2TB model. But you can pick them up for significantly less than that right now. Here are the best Xbox Seagate SSD Black Friday deals we've found so far:

The Xbox Series ships with a 1TB SSD and around 802GB of that is useable space, while the all-digital Xbox Series S has 512GB offering just 364GB of useable space. With an SSD you can increase the space available of your console, to accommodate your games library, which is undoubtedly going to grow over the next few years. And with the Xbox Series S Black Friday price cut, it's a great opportunity to bag the console plus the SSD to hit the ground running.

PS5 owners will also be in need of storage solutions, as the console comes with 825GB of which only 667GB is useable space. But ultimately, both pieces of hardware will need their storage expanded at some point, if you don't want to be constantly deleting games and apps to make room for new ones. On that front, be sure to check out our best Black Friday PS5 SSD deals.

While the Xbox Series X is still proving difficult to get hold off, its little brother is in plentiful supply – and at an excellent price! It may not have the same powerful specs, but between Cloud Gaming and Xbox Game Pass, it still presents a fantastic option either a main console, or to sit alongside the other hardware in your gaming setup.
