'Worth £50m' - How Nottingham Forest fans celebrated Matty Cash's stunning equaliser

Nottingham Forest snatched a stunning late draw at the Hawthorns.

Table-toppers West Bromwich Albion were their opponents in the division's early kick-off, live on Sky Sports, with Albion looking to extend their buffer at the top.

And it was Matty Cash, a man who has been so influential this season, who stole the headlines with a stunner in injury time to save a point.

But Forest fans were left wondering what could have been had a number of key refereeing decisions gone their way in Birmingham.

Twice, Forest had penalty appeals turned away with talisman Joe Lolley left on his knees after the second begging the officials for a spot-kick after his deft touch struck the hand of Kyle Bartley in the area.

And to add insult to injury, Slaven Bilic's side were a man to the good for their second goal with Sammy Ameobi, who lay injured on the ground, having been hacked to the ground moments earlier.

Here's how Forest fans reacted to the late equalier on social media.

@NathanNFFC: Anyone that tells me Matty cash isnt worth at least 50m wants to give their head a wobble!! The blokes next level.

@RMBMatthews92: I could see referee disallowing Cash's goal at end of game if West Brom don't get a winner.

@CarnorJax87: Surprised Stroud didn't write off the goal for Cash hitting it too hard.

@Ssqueakyyy: I stick by my statement of Trent Alexander Arnold is a poor mans Matty Cash.

@Coach_LewisVJ: Matty Cash. What a player.

@BenjiNFFC: Get in! Cheating horrible WBA and Keith Stroud! That Cash goal is so so sweet.

@ThomasGhanock92: You can’t afford Matty Cash. Pass it on.

@KyleHolland96: First of all. Matty Cash, I’m naming my first born after you.
