Word On The Street Is Pitbull Is About To Announce An Australian Tour, DALE!

I’m a simple girl. All I want is to don a bald cap and chuck on a second-hand suit with my friends and boogie the night away to the energetic tones of American rapper and singer Pitbull. Now, according to some Aussie pop culture experts and my own insider sources, my dream might be coming true. DALE!!!!!!!!!!

You see, Pitbull hasn’t come to Australia since 2012, so last month, I wrote an article containing some thinly veiled threats to Mr. Worldwide and claimed that if he doesn’t come to Australia soon, his Mr. Worldwide moniker should be revoked.

I said what I said!!!!! (Image: Getty)

After sharing the article across my own socials, I discovered a lot of Aussie Pitbull fans felt exactly the same way. It also opened the doors for my DMs to be filled with a lot of scammers pretending to be Mr. 305 himself.

Things took a serious turn late last week when pop culture reporter Jessie Lynch took to her TikTok channel Pop Cult to report on some whispers she’d heard that Pitbull AND Mariah Carey would be touring Australia in October 2025.

While she didn’t know for sure if they’d be touring together, she believed that it might be announced next week.

The theory only got more compelling when popular R&B festival Fridayz Live confirmed its long-awaited return for 2025 after five long years.

So far, organisers have dropped the dates and the locations of the event, revealing that the iconic festival will only be popping up in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne and noticeably skipping out on New Zealand or Adelaide.

In the caption, they noted that the lineup would drop at 6am on Thursday.

As the whispers turned into hopeful shouts from Pitbull lovers around the country, I found a very promising message in my DMs from a source who has connections to the Latin music industry in Australia.

They said that they are “running to the store right now” to buy a bald cap after someone with more authority hinted that Mr. Worldwide is living up to his name by coming Down Under this year.

To confirm, these are simply rumours at this point. However, I am screaming. I’ve ordered my bald cap and I’ll be waiting with bated breath to see if my dreams and the rumour come true tomorrow at 6am when Fridayz Live reveal their upcoming 2025 line up.

I know waiting to hear the news is hard but don’t forget that every day above ground is a great day.

Remember that.
