A woman was trampled to death by a herd of cows when walking her dog through a field in Wales earlier this month.
The woman was walking her dog on a public path near the village of Guilsfield, Welshpool on Friday 1 September, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) confirmed.
The HSE said that the cows knocked the woman over while she was walking through the farmland. It is not yet known if the dog survived.
According to the HSE the women’s family was informed and the coroner has been notified.
A HSE spokesperson said: “We are aware of this incident and making inquiries.”
