Woman told to 'trust the process' after manicure looks like blobs on fingers

When you go to get your nails done, you probably have an idea of what you hope the finished product will look like. Whether you're wanting your nails to be pretty and pastel, bright and bold, or you fancy an intricate design on your talons, you've probably researched the person you're going to and know what you're letting yourself in for.

That's why one TikToker got the shock of her life when her nails looked not as she'd hoped mid-manicure. Brenda aka @bbrenda1 posted a video of her nails during the process of getting them done, and it looked as though the nail tech had just placed blobs of gel on her fingers, leaving them rather unsightly.

At the final reveal though, she got the mani she wanted and they looked sleek and shiny, with a simple line design done in jet black. over a subtle French tip.

She captioned the video: "Trust the process for real bro."

In a previous video which showed the same nails being done, Brenda wrote as the caption: "Guys what should I do, I start school tomorrow and she’s saying i can’t get my money back!"

Someone wrote: "Ever heard of trust the process? Miss Karen."

Brenda then pointed out that there was a part two of the video that the user needed to watch, which detailed the actual nails once the manicurist was finished.

People in the comments were horrified at the middle stage of the process though, thinking that was the final reveal of the nails.

One wrote: "At the beginning, I thought they were done and I started laughing but yeah they look good at the end!"

"They're really pretty", another added.

Another TikToker wrote: Gosh, people are soo negative - these are beautiful, practice makes perfect."

"You got me scared", another joked.
