If you've decided to get yourself a heated dryer to avoid using your costly tumble dryer during the winter months and you're struggling to make it work for you, one woman has shared the way she uses hers - saying she thinks it's the 'correct' way to use the dryer.
Chloe Fenlon, who goes by the username @chlofenlon said that she'd 'seen everyone slating this clothes dryer' so she wanted to show people how she uses her - and the hanging hack definitely takes time out of drying and hanging clothes. She captioned the video: "I recommend! Me and my heated airer for life."
The video shows Chloe's heated dryer, but instead of putting things on each individual part of the dryer, she's decided to hang things on hangers so they lean on the heated sections.
Once the things are hung on it with the hangers, she said she then puts a fitted sheet over it, locking the heat in to ensure things dry as quickly as possible.
The video says: "Dries quick, the house smells gorgeous, and the clothes are ready to be put straight away", followed by a tick emoji.
Other people praised the hack wondering why they hadn't tried it that way in the past.
One wrote: "Why did I never thing to do it on hangers?! Get way more on!"
Another said they loved their heated dryer, commenting: "Mine got me through three loads of washing a day the other day. We don’t have room for a tumble dryer so I love it!"
Someone defended the dryer, writing: "But it’s the best airer, especially with the cover! I put it on when I go to bed and turn it off in the morning and everything is dry!"
