Woman's genius life-hack to save time and dishes while cooking full Scottish breakfast

Cooking a full Scottish breakfast can be stressful, especially if you're cooking for a family or group.

There's the bacon, beans, sausages, hash browns, and mushrooms all to time to perfection, so it's never an easy breakfast choice.

But one woman has come up with a genius life-hack which she says will save everyone time - and washing up.

The answer? A slow cooker.

Posting on  Facebook group Slow Cooker Recipe & Tips , one woman, Ara Haddon, explained how to make an entire cooked breakfast using just a slow cooker, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Alongside a photograph of her kitchen device loaded up with breakfast goodies, she wrote: "Been meaning to try it for ages. Verdict: Best. Idea. Ever! This will be us every big breakfast morning.

"Place all breakfast ingredients in the slow cooker like in the photo. Bacon and sausages along the sides so they crisp up (next time I will try using baking paper to help keep them from sticking to the sides).

"Saucy stuff like baked beans and mushrooms into individual cups so they don't end up a big mash.
Mushrooms: I added garlic, butter, and a dash of cream. In the morning I put them on the stove top to thicken the sauce.

"Hashbrowns: I want to try putting them along the edges as well next time to see if that helps them get crispy. They were still delicious as is.

"I turned the slow cooker on low at 11pm, I got up at 8am and it looked like it had been ready for awhile. We ate at around 9am."

Ara said that all she needed to do in the morning was put some bread in the toaster and make some eggs - as these are the only bits you can't do in the slow cooker for obvious reasons.  And voila, her breakfast was ready to serve.

After Ara shared her tip, her post quickly became a viral sensation, with many people keen to try it for themselves.
