A police investigation has been launched after a woman’s body was pulled from a pond in Glasgow 's West End.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Bingham’s Pond in Hyndland, at around 10.20am on Thursday.
Enquiries into the grim discovery are ongoing but cops say they are not currently treating the woman’s death as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “At around 10.20am, the body of a woman was found in Bingham's Pond in Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the death.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal. At this stage, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
