A woman was in for a shock when she returned home to find her builder had plastered her cat into the bathroom wall.
Ashlin Hadden, who had been away on a business trip, was left wondering where the muffled meows were coming from, only to discover that they were coming from behind the wall.
It turns out Stripes had been stuck for three days with Ashlin, an Insurance agency owner, taking to TikTok to share her unusual ordeal.
“So I hired somebody to redo the bathroom,” she said in the video.
“They pulled out the bathtub and put in the new shower thing."
As she pointed to the gap between the wall and her new bathtub, she added: "And as I’m sitting here trying to figure out where my cat is, I can hear the cat crying from somewhere in here."

She also shared some CCTV footage of her looking confused while trying to track down where Stripes' meows were coming from.
Ashlin managed to track down the sound but ended up punching a hole in the wall before being reunited with her beloved pet who, she assured her followers, is doing "fine".
"The stupid ass contractor drywalled my cat into the drywall underneath the (new) bathtub," she said.

“This poor kitty was locked in there for three days."
After some TikTok users criticised Ashlin for leaving the cat with the contractor, she said they were aware there was a pet in the house and that the cat had an "auto feeder and auto pooper" set-up, Yahoo News reports.
"When the contractor went downstairs to get the paint he left the door open, he left the hole uncovered in the wall," she said in another post.
"Obviously the cat did what cats are going to do and was curious.
"I guess that’s why they say curiosity killed the cat."
Others, meanwhile, said the tradesperson should've looked before sealing the area off.
"People are being so mean. It was an honest mistake on all sides. Could have happened to anyone," said one user.
Another added: "You are fine. It was a freak accident. Glad you thought quick and got them out."
You would think this would be a once in a blue moon event, but it appears others have struggled with the same scenario.
"Omg that happen to me too with one of my cats!!!" said one user, while another added: "This really happened to me!"
