A woman has said she does not let her husband leave the house because he is "very handsome" and she fears someone will take him from her.
Footage emerged on social media showing the couple from Mexico holding hands and being interviewed and talking about their relationship.
The unnamed woman said others envy her because of her husband's features, including his beard, lips and eyes, which "captivate" her.
In the clip, she said: "Women envy me because of the handsome boyfriend I have. They envy me because of his beard, his lips, his eyes, all that captivates me."
She then revealed that she is afraid someone else will take her husband from her, so she does not want him to leave the house or be friends with other women.
The interviewer, who is from Mexico, then asked the woman's husband how he felt about his wife's declaration.
The man replied: "It's something she's always told me, that I'm very handsome, that's why she doesn't let me go out."
He added that he lost friends and colleagues due to his wife's jealousy, as he explained: "My friends that I was close to don't hang out as much anymore."
He added that he cannot work so his wife supports him financially.
The video, shared by TikTok user Icefire, has been watched more than 55 million times and liked almost four million times.
In the comments, some people suggested the clip looks stage, while others said the man looks "said".
A TikToker wrote: "I couldn't care less if this is staged, this is comedy."
Another added: "He seems like a nice man, he's all yours. Thank you."
One more commented: "Not sure if this is a relationship or a hostage situation."
And a person said: "I mean I feel her If I had such a handsome husband I'll be doing the same."
In another video, the woman also asked her husband to launch an appeal to let others know they should not talk to him.
The man added he plans to get a tattoo of his wife's name, with a person commenting: "I feel so bad for him."
It is not clear if the interviews are staged or real, but the numerous clips posted by the TikToker have been watched by millions of people who appeared interested in the series.
