Woman plunges into bin as prank goes horribly wrong in viral video

It is a moment she will have wanted nobody to see.

But for one poor woman, the moment she falls into a Newcastle City Centre bin has already been watched by millions.

Dashing along rubbish-filled bins belonging to bars and takeaways in a night out prank, she very nearly makes it to the end.

But then one of the lids gives way and she plunges into the rubbish below - and doesn't look too pleased.

The Snapchat clip, shared by Lewis Bateman, has been viewed over three-and-a-half million times since it was uploaded on Facebook.

And he wrote: "What a Snapchat to be sent at 23:45 on a Thursday".

The clip is thought to have been shot in an alley off Newgate Street, next to Yummies takeaway.

And social media has been quick to dish out some sensible advice to the woman, who as people pointed out, "was covered in all sorts of c**p" following her undignified tumble.

"Never listen to your brain when it is fuelled by rocket juice," warned one Facebook user.
