Woman 'overwhelmed' after spotting heart-shaped cloud above late sister's favourite beach

A woman has spotted a heart-shaped cloud above her late sister’s favourite beach on what would have been her 33rd birthday.

Colleen Smith, 30, was visiting her sister Laura’s favourite beach, as she does every year on notable occasions like her birthday.

Laura passed away four years ago from sepsis.

Colleen said the Three Cliffs Bay in Swansea held a special place in her sister’s heart.

She said: "We went there every year as children and now I take my children there every year as well.

"We go every year on her birthday to celebrate, which was that day - and as we arrived in the car park it just so happened that heart was in the sky.

"My little boy just started crying and was so excited. We were all just overwhelmed with happiness that it was there."

It’s not the first time a strange coincidence has occurred when Colleen and her family have been visiting Three Cliffs Bay beach to remember Laura.

Before, she said some family members have found white feathers, and whatever the weather forecast, they always arrive at the beloved beach to beautiful bright sunshine.
