A man robbed an elderly woman on Christmas eve whilst she was visiting her late husband’s grave, according to the police.
The 73-year-old woman was cleaning the grave when the suspect approached her from behind and stole her handbag, causing her to fall to the ground.
The handbag has since been found by a member of the public but the purse was missing.
According to the police report, the suspect was wearing a black scarf over his face, a grey hooded top and black jeans and coat. He was headed towards Church Road in west London after the incident at Hanwell Cemetery.
