Woman left with bruising to head and body after attack with crutch

A woman was left with bruising to her head and body after an attack during which she was hit with a crutch.

A 38-year-old woman reported being assaulted by a man and two women on Friday (January 25) at around 10pm.

A white Ford Transit van was also damaged in the incident in Churchill Avenue, near Garland House in Clevedon.

The woman said vehicles were having to drive around those involved in the altercation.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam or CCTV footage which could help with their investigation.
