Woman left seriously injured as three men charged after crash on Scots road

A woman is in hospital in a 'serious' condition after a horror crash on a Scots road.

A silver BMW and a black Ford Fiesta collided at around 9.45pm on Saturday at the junction of Farmeloan Road and Victoria Street, Rutherglen.

A female passenger from the Ford Fiesta was taken to hospital, where her injuries are described as serious but stable.

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 53-year-old man, has been charged in connection with careless driving.

Two other men, aged 26 and 34, have been charged in connection with other road traffic offences.

Cops are now appealing for anyone with information on the crash.
