A woman was hospitalised after a motorway crash in Glasgow.
The smash involved two vehicles and occurred just after 12pm on Thursday. It took place on the M80's southbound carriageway near junction two, also known as the Robroyston Interchange, in the north-east of the city.
Police were called to the scene and one was woman was taken to hospital. The woman's age, the nature of her injuries and current medical condition were not disclosed.

Officers did however tell Glasgow Live that she was hospitalised 'to be checked over'.
No other injuries have been reported at this stage. Police, when approached on Thursday evening did not reveal if enquiries were ongoing, nor the types of vehicles involved.
A force spokeswoman told Glasgow Live: “Police were called at around 12.05pm on Thursday, August 25, to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the M80 southbound near J2.
“One woman has been taken to hospital to be checked over.”
