Woman hit by car in Stirling as emergency services race to scene

A woman has been hit by a car in Stirling during a collision.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Cowane Street in the city centre this afternoon.

The woman was treated for injuries at the scene.

The extent and condition of her injuries are not yet known.

Police say investigations are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 12.30pm on Saturday 4 December to a report of a collision involving a car and a female pedestrian on Cowane Street, Stirling.

"The woman is being treated at the scene by paramedics, with enquiries ongoing."
