Woman has people's jaws dropping over her disappearing 'baby bump' prank

A woman has astonished her online followers with a video appearing to show how she made a 'baby bump' vanish.

Alene Fernandes shocked her 131.6k TikTok followers as she seemed to be able to suck in her tummy and make it flat again, despite appearing to be pregnant.

But all wasn't as it seemed.

Alongside a clip of herself showing off her big 'baby bump', she wrote: "When you're tired of being pregnant."

She then walks to the back of her room and suddenly sucks in her stomach, her 'bump' completely vanishing.

"Being pregnant is tiring," Alene captioned the video.

The shocking post racked up more than 20,000 comments as fellow TikTok users desperately tried to work out if their eyes were deceiving them.

"Wait, where did the baby go?" asked one.

"Geeez dude that must take a lot of skill, it is very impressive that you can do that," added another.

"I believe this is what causes claustrophobia later in life," joked a third.

"Is this a joke? I can’t tell if it was a joke or not lmao," remarked a fourth.

But others realised what was going on - prankster Alene wasn't actually pregnant at all, just showing off how a woman's body can change size quickly.

She made a follow up video showing off the same trick - pushing her tummy out so that she looked pregnant, before sucking it back in.

One user replied: "yk that can hurt the baby".

Alene admitted: "I’m not pregnant but thanks for your concern".

In another video, she clarified again: "For the people who are so concerned I’m not actually pregnant."

Her followers had been completely duped, as one commented: "Nah cause I really thought you had a baby".

"SHES NOT PREGNANT?!?!" demanded another.

Alene's not the only one whose body dramatically changes due to bloating and breathing out.

In fact, one woman has created a video documenting how she changes size every day of the week based on things including her diet, stress, tiredness, and hormones.

Health and lifestyle influencer Bree Leneham took to Instagram to document how much her body changes throughout a seven-day period, to show people we shouldn't be so hard on ourselves for bloating.

In the video, Bree starts the week with a flat stomach, but it grows and shrinks day today.

She dances around and lip-synchs in various different outfits to demonstrate the changes.

"Speak to your body like it belongs to someone you love," she urged her 541,000 followers at the end.
