A woman left furious after her neighbour parked their nine cars outside her home had the last laugh, with her 'petty revenge' ending up costing them over €100,000.
The resident decided enough was enough when it came to her neighbour and their many cars - and now she's unlikely to ever be bothered by them again.
The unnamed woman took to Reddit to share her story, which sparked hundreds of comments.

She told how despite having their own driveway, the neighbours frustratingly insisted on parking their nine cars outside her home, Mirror UK reports.
She raged: "My neighbours have nine cars total parked in the street. They always park two of those cars in front on my house and won’t move them the whole week. We have a regulation where you live that you can’t leave your car parked for more than 48 hours in the same spot."
Their driveway, which has room for four cars, is always empty, she says.
"They have told me they don’t like to leave their driveway with cars because it looks tacky. Over half the cars they have they don’t even use them. They just use them to safe parking spots for themselves."
This sneaky resident wasn’t going to take their selfishness lying down. She noticed some construction work at the rear of her neighbour’s property. Spotting an opportunity to wreak her own revenge, she reported the building work.
"I submitted a ticket with my city and advised them that there might be some illegal residential building without permits."
She heard nothing more and thought that might be the end of the story. But the wheels of bureaucracy can move very slow and the impact of her actions were not seen for another year.
"I noticed my neighbours tearing down their second unit last week. Word got around our block that a city inspector was there making sure everything was being torn down. Based on what they materials and labor they put into their second unit, I cost them over $100,000 (€102,000)."
Those who commented on Reddit were divided, with one describing her act as, “dedicated petty revenge.”
Others suggested cheaper ways of seeking revenge. "Accidentally scatter bird seed around their parked cars every day," said one, with another adding, "pigeons and seagulls c**p everywhere ... and their c**p is acidic and eats thru paint jobs!"
Another bird-like solution included planting some trees around the offending parked cars: "You need to give their cars some shade. Plant a couple of Mulberry trees as close to the curb as you are allowed. They grow fast and the berries make a real mess, not to mention the birds who stop to eat those berries."
