Brooks Nader’s topless swim during a family vacation in Italy has sparked a debate online. Some viewers questioned whether the setting made the moment uncomfortable. Others pointed out that going topless at the beach is a longstanding practice in parts of Europe. Photos shared by the celebrity gossip account Deux Moi show the reality star and model topless aboard a yacht. Other members of her family are there, including her father, Breaux Nader.
Page Six reported that Nader removed her bikini top before jumping into the Mediterranean, while her parents and sister Sarah Jane were also on the yacht. The images prompted commentary from TikTok creator Kenzie Reinhart, who said she generally likes Nader but found the family context surprising.
“I understand she’s a little wild and out there,” Reinhart said in her TikTok video. She added, “But swimming topless with her dad — that’s where I draw the line.” Nader’s relatives are all wearing swimsuits. Reinhart acknowledged that different families have different comfort levels but questioned the choice because Nader was vacationing with her father. Reinhart called the situation “very odd.”
Not all commenters felt the same way.
At the same time, some on social media pushed back on that reaction. They argued that Nader was in Italy and that topless sunbathing carries fewer cultural taboos in some European destinations.
Travel guidance notes that topless sunbathing was once common and remains an option for some women, particularly at more secluded beaches. Italy’s official tourism website also lists several designated beaches in Calabria, including locations near Tropea, Stignano, Isola Capo Rizzuto, and Palmi.

Nader, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native, became widely known after winning Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s Swim Search in 2019. She later appeared in multiple SI Swimsuit issues, including a 2023 cover, and competed on Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars. She also stars with her sisters in Hulu’s Love Thy Nader, a reality series centered on the family’s lives and modeling careers.
Nader’s personal life has also generated headlines, particularly during her relationship with dancer Gleb Savchenko. The pair met while competing on Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars and began a relationship that later became part of the show’s off-camera drama.
The couple split more than once. In April 2025, People reported that Nader suspected Savchenko had cheated, while Savchenko denied the allegations. Their relationship later became a storyline on Nader’s reality series, Love Thy Nader, where she claimed she had evidence of infidelity, according to Us Weekly.

Nader also found herself at the center of dating speculation involving actor Ben Affleck in January 2026. After Deux Moi posted a rumor that the pair were “hooking up,” the outlet later reported that a source said they had never met. Nader confirmed that account herself, commenting, “Haven’t met him in my life,” according to People. She later told People that such rumors are “par for the course” for her as a social media personality.
