Lots of households can relate to having noisy neighbours and barking dogs next-door - but often people avoid confrontation to keep the peace.
One dog owner was left shocked and insulted after someone mysteriously dumped a muzzle on her doorstep.
Posting on the Spotted Rothley Facebook group, the anonymous woman ranted: "Whoever dumped this at my doorstep can you come and collect it?
"My dog certainly doesn't need it and if you are implying that my dog barks or bites you are very mistaken.
"The only time he barks is if someone knocks on my door and this is very minimal.
"This seems a very rude course of action and perhaps you should reassess how you deal with problems that don't exist."

The image on the post showed a brand-new canine muzzle still in its packagin.
Few locals joked that the product could be a present to her and not the dog.
"Maybe it's for the owner who has a bark worse than her bite?" one person said.
Another resident suggested there might have been a misunderstanding, writing: "Maybe it was just dropped out of a shopping bag by mistake?"
But the dog owner was quick to clarify that the muzzle had been placed in her porch which is passed her driveway, meaning it must have been deliberate.
Many people suggested she sell the gift online, with one saying: "They're £10 on eBay, try and swap it for dog food."
"Sell it on eBay and take yourself out for lunch. Best way to deal with that and if they keep giving you more then you will have a free lunch for life," a second agreed.
Another woman has been criticised online for the way she reacted to her confrontational neighbour, after they argued about her barking dog.
She took to Mumsnet to rant about the lady over the fence and her loud pet - but received backlash for her actions.
In the post, she explained: "[My] neighbour has a yappy dog that never stops, it comes right up to the fence and barks incessantly whenever any of us go into the garden."
She asked fellow parents if she was being unreasonable for not wanting to build a friendship with her neighbour or her dog.
But users were quick to call her "rude" and said she needed to "grow up".
