Woman falls in bushes after man in white van 'forces her off road'

A woman has warned people of a white van that forced her into bushes on a single track road.

The woman was walking her dog on Green Lane in Maghull when a white van pulled up next to her, forcing her off the road when she fell into the bushes at the side of the road.

After she fell, the man in the van began asking her a number of questions about her dog.

He continued until a woman walked round the corner and he then drove away.

A friend of the person involved took to Facebook to warn people.

She wrote: "Please be careful walking your dogs! Yesterday my friend was walking her dog down the lane by Green Park [St James Church]/St John Bosco school fields when she was forced into the side of the road and fell into trees/gutter by a man in a white van who then asked her lots of questions about her dog!

"He only drove off when another lady walked around the corner!"

People were quick to thank her for the warning and send their wishes to the woman involved.

One person commented: "Thank you for this post. Hope the poor lady who was run off the road is ok, sending good thoughts to her and her pooch."

Another wrote: "Thanks for posting. Hope your friend's ok x"
