An Airbnb guest who noticed something strange about the bed discovered a rolled up note from a previous guest had been hidden inside.
TikTok user Shawna_morris explains she had booked a "cute little cabin" in Vermont, US, and says that not long after they arrived she noticed one of the bed knobs was unsturdy and lifted it off to find a note had been left hidden in the frame.
Using a branch to reach down and retrieve the scrap of paper, Shawna managed to pull the note to the top and pick it out, showing the first line to read: 'To who ever finds this note', Daily Star reports.
The clip, which has been watched more than 2.8 million times, then cuts off as viewers were left desperate to find out what the message contained, and Shawna posted a follow up video to share it in full.

It continues: "We stumbled across this loose cap to the end of the bed and like any college kids on an adventure thought it would be clever to leave a note for the next homies who find the stash spot.
"Tonight we are having steaks, sweet potatoes, asparagus, [unreadable]. Oh eggplant too!
"We got ourselves some Bud Light and are having a chill night. Isn't this an amazing cabin!
"Have fun, stay woke! Love, Wendy. Please add a note."
Shawna said: "So it's not hidden treasure, it's nothing like mysterious or anything, it's just a cute little note.
"But I did recognise the handwriting from the cabin guestbook. I went back into the guestbook, matched the handwriting and it shows that it's from January 19, 2020.
"So Wendy, if you're seeing this, thank you for making my trip that much more interesting and I hope that you find my note that I leave."
A third video shows Shawna adding her own note, saying the cabin holds beautiful memories for her, and gives advice about going swimming in a nearby lake for the next occupant to find.
People loved the idea, as one commented to say: "I already know Wendy is someone I'd wanna chill with."
