A woman has died and three people are being treated in hospital following a serious road accident in Livingston.
Police Scotland said the woman died at the scene of the crash at Cousland Road on Wednesday and once casualty remains in a serious condition.
The Emergency services were called to the accident between Mill Roundabout and the Hospital Interchange at around 3.20pm and the road was closed until 10.40pm.
Police warned motorists to avoid the road while investigation work was carried out.
