A WOMAN has died after being hit by a bus in Glasgow.
Emergency services responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a bus at about 3.35pm on Monday on Barrhead Road, in the Southside of the city.
The woman was rushed to hospital, however she later died from her injuries.
Police Scotland said enquiries were ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
There were no other injuries reported from the incident.
Barrhead Road was closed at the time of the incident for around five hours, reopening at about 9.55pm on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.50pm on Monday, August 18, 2025, we received a report of a crash involving a female pedestrian and a bus on Barrhead Road, Glasgow.
"The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where she later died. There were no reports of any other injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
"Barrhead Road was closed and reopened around 9.55pm."
