We’re all guilty of keeping tabs on our other halves on social media from time to time.
But few of us expect to find anything too damning on their Facebook, Twitter, or TikTok accounts.
This unfortunately wasn’t the case for Instagram user Gabby though, who discovered, via the app, that her boyfriend was cheating on her - after she’d travelled half-way across the world to be with him.
And in revenge, she took to social media herself, explaining in a series of viral videos how she came to discover her now ex had been living a double life.
Gabby revealed that she was living in America while her other half was based in the UK.

While visiting him for six weeks in London, she was scrolling through Instagram when it occurred to her to check her list of blocked contacts.
In a video that has now had over a staggering 2.1 million views, Gabby said: "Something told me to check my blocked list on Instagram.
"And what did I find? A random girl. And what did we have in common? My boyfriend."
Because Gabby had never met the mystery woman before, it didn't take long for her to work out that her boyfriend had gone onto the app and blocked the woman he was cheating on her with himself.
In a caption she said on the clip: "They get sneaky my friends."
Initially, Gabby’s beau claimed the girl was "crazy" and was trying to sabotage their relationship. But he eventually admitted he had been seeing her, and Gabby got a train to go and stay with his parents.
Believing it was a one-off, Gabby then forgave her ex and the pair got engaged in 2020.
But one week after she’d moved to the UK permanently to be with him, Gabby got another shock when she found out he'd been messaging yet another girl on Instagram.
She revealed all on TikTok and viewers were quick to sympathise and offer their support – as well as check their own social media profiles.
One replied: "When I say I RAN to my blocked list."
Another said: "My ex-husband did this. And now they're together."
A third added: "My ex had me blocked on his social media accounts that I didn't know existed."
