A woman was arrested after breaking into an apartment armed with a knife.
Gardai are investigating the shocking incident that happened in the Railway Road area of Clongriffin yesterday.
The woman, in her late 30s, broke into the apartment with a knife at around 6.40 pm but fled the scene when disturbed.
She was later found by the gardai and arrested and taken to Coolock Garda Station.
A garda spokesman said: “She has since been charged in relation to this incident and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 4, today 27/03/2020 at approximately 10:30am.
“No injuries were sustained.”
