It comes after video footage surfaced on social media which appeared to show a woman snatching a handbag from an elderly woman, knocking her to the ground, in Murray Place.

Police Scotland said they received a report of a robbery of a 73-year-old woman at around 9am on Tuesday. Officers then arrested and charged a woman in connection with the incident.
