
A murder investigation has been launched by detectives after a man died from stab wounds.
Police arrested a woman, 45, in connection with the incident after the male victim was found at a property in Chatham, Kent.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 10.12am on Saturday morning after receiving reports of an assault.
Kent Police said that officers found a man in his 40s with injuries “consistent with stab wounds” at a property in Castle Road.
The man died while being treated by paramedics at the scene, the force said.
The female suspect remains in police custody, it added.

“Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Chatham,” the force said in a statement.
“Kent Police was called at 10.12am on Saturday, November 1, following reports of an assault in a private property in Castle Road.
“Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them.
“Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for relevant footage.”
