Greater Manchester Police continue to investigate and are urging anyone with further information to get in touch.

Detective Inspector Damian Threader, of GMP’s Bolton division, said: “Whilst it has been nine months since this tragic incident I want to stress that our enquiries have not stopped.

“This week we have been able to make a further arrest, which I hope shows that we are working hard to establish exactly what happened on that fateful evening.

“We are urging anyone who may hold vital information to think back to December of last year and please get in touch if you think you can assist us with our investigation.”

Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 5757 quoting incident number 94 of 30/12/2018, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
