A 23-YEAR-OLD woman has died after she fell into water near a popular Highlands beauty spot.
Emergency services were called to Rogie Falls in Wester Ross at around 1.45pm on Saturday after reports that someone had fallen into the water.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched crews to assist with the operation and the stop call was made at 4.24pm.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.45pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025, we were called to a report of a woman having fallen into the water in the Rogie Falls area of Wester Ross.
“Emergency services attended; however, the 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
