Wolves defender Max Kilman shares insight into what Conor Coady will bring to Everton

Wolves defender Max Kilman has shared crucial insight into just how Conor Coady aided his development before the England international's move to Everton.

Coady has linked up with Frank Lampard's side for the 2022/23 season in a bid to help them enjoy a better season in the Premier League - and boost his chances of playing in the World Cup.

But the 29-year-old will certainly be missed by his Wolves team-mates, including Kilman, who made the step up to the Premier League under then boss Nuno Espírito Santo after starting out in non-league.

And the 25-year-old has explained just how Everton new boy Coady, who was Wolves captain, helped him do just that.

''Since I first came into the club he put his arm around me and when I came up from the U23s every time I trained with the first team, he was always there and he gave me advice. We became good friends,'' Kilman told Sky Sports News.

''Even up until this season and last season too he always gave me advice and always helped me both on and off the pitch. I can only say good things about him and I wish him all the best."
