A video on TikTok appearing to show an argument between a woman and a property manager in Colorado has sparked a conversation has sparked a conversation about racism after the woman who posted it claimed the manager called her a slur.
The clip was posted by the TikTok account “girlies55550,” although it appears to be missing much of the context. The woman recording can be heard yelling at a man whom she accuses of calling her a racial slur. “Call me what you just called me!” she says; however, if the man did insult her, he certainly doesn’t repeat the slur on camera.

In the caption, the woman claims that the man called her an ethnic slur usually directed towards Latinos and Hispanics, and that “he didn’t repeat it but he said “yeah” in this video.” At one point in the video, when she asks him if he called her a slur before she began recording, it sounds as though the man does say, “yeah.”
As well as the alleged slur, the man also insults the woman, calling her “someone who is dumb as f–k who doesn’t realize she doesn’t belong here.” Meanwhile, the woman yells at the man, “Call me again what you just called me.”
Property managers allegedly tried to kick the woman and her son out
According to the woman who posted the clip, she and her ten-year-old son were approached by an “intoxicated” female manager while in the pool at the property. The manager allegedly demanded to know which apartment she lived in. The woman claims that she had been visiting her adult son, who did live at the property, but at the time he was getting changed in his apartment.
She claims her younger son tried to explain that his brother lived at the property, but he was allegedly told to “shut the f–k up” by the manager. The woman says the tense situation and the attitude of the property manager put her in a “reactive” mindset, and she admits she said some things she regrets. Things escalated when the other man showed up, who was allegedly also intoxicated, and apparently called the woman a slur.
Commenters on TikTok claimed the property managers were “unprofessional” and questioned how the woman could have ever been perceived as being in the wrong: “How tf is the resident wrong?” asked one person, “He’s allowed to have company.”
Another commenter, who claimed to be a property manager too, recommended reporting the incident to “corporate,” or whoever was above the property managers who she claims insulted her: “As a property manager I would not step foot in my property drunk and surely wouldn’t try to tell my tenants anything if I was drunk.”
